Your ideas, feedback, and creativity have shaped everything we’ve accomplished.

The moments that define us
Over the past decade, we’ve seen web development evolve at an incredible pace. Netlify, alongside this community, has been at the forefront of this change.
In 2015, we introduced Git-based deployments, making deployments more reliable and easier to manage. The following year, we launched Deploy Previews, allowing teams to preview changes in a live environment before pushing them to production. As demand for dynamic functionality grew, we introduced Serverless Functions, bridging the gap between static sites and full applications by enabling features like authentication, payments, and database interactions without the need for server management.
And this was just the beginning. We’ve continued to build a suite of composable tools and platform primitives, all designed to work seamlessly with any web framework.
Real impact from real builders
Beyond the milestones, what truly defines the past decade are the stories of the people who made incredible things happen.
Take Navan’s web team as an example. Once slowed by manual deployment processes, they now deploy rapidly and autonomously—freeing up engineering time to focus on building better experiences.
Consider the developers behind the Covid Tracking Project, who created a critical public health tool that scaled to 2 million API requests practically overnight.
Or the millions of creators, startups, and enterprises who have taken Netlify’s tools and turned them into platforms, products, and experiences that impact countless lives.
