Whether you’re launching your next big idea or experimenting with the latest framework, every project should start without financial risk. That’s why we’re excited to introduce Netlify’s Free plan – an always-free solution for deploying your web projects.
As we’ve grown to over 5 million developers on Netlify, we strive to continue to care for the smallest to the largest deployments. In the past, we’ve heard from developers who want access to the best features of a web development platform but, at the same time, more control, clarity, and transparency over their fees. The Netlify Free plan is now here to help.
What is Netlify Free?
Netlify’s new Free plan joins Netlify’s other self-serve pricing plan options and is exactly what it says on the tin: free forever with no financial risk. On the Free plan, you can deploy commercial projects, personal sites, or other creative explorations you want to share on the web.
Here’s how it works:
-
100% free: Deploy with no credit card required and no fees. Ever.
-
Generous monthly limits: Each month receives 100 GB bandwidth, 300 build minutes, 125,000 function and 1 million edge function invocations, 10 GB storage, and more.
-
Transparent usage warnings: We’re investing in notifications so you’ll receive updates as you approach 50%, 75%, 90%, and 100% of your monthly limits.
-
Instant upgrades: If your app or site exceeds the Free plan limits for the month, it will be suspended for the remaining days in the calendar month. At any time you can reactivate your site in seconds by upgrading to a usage-based plan.
Start free, scale when ready
We’re excited to offer cost-effective options for businesses of all sizes (and free plans for Open Source maintainers or public good organizations, too). If you’re finding your first customers, testing out the latest JavaScript framework, or just want to host your personal site, the Netlify Free plan is a great option.
